By using LabelSense you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
LabelSense reads the ingredient panel printed on a food pack — from your photo or typed text — and gives an India-style vegetarian mark, a personal suitability line for your chosen diet, and a summary of the allergens declared on the label.
LabelSense results are informational only. They come from reading the label — they depend on the label being complete and correct, on the photo being legible, and on our ingredient dictionary, which cannot cover every ingredient, formulation change or manufacturer's hidden source. LabelSense is not medical, dietary, allergy or religious advice.
If you or a family member has a food allergy or intolerance, always read the physical pack yourself before eating, and follow your doctor's advice. Never rely on LabelSense alone for allergy decisions.
Keep your account to yourself and use the app lawfully. When you report a wrong verdict or mark an ingredient as confirmed with a manufacturer, you agree to do so honestly — confirmations are shown to other users and dishonest ones could mislead them.
The LabelSense name, logo, design and ingredient dictionary are ours. Label text you scan remains what it is — the manufacturer's printed information.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LabelSense is provided "as is" and we are not liable for loss arising from reliance on a verdict, an incorrect or incomplete reading, or the app being unavailable. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under applicable consumer law (including the Australian Consumer Law) that cannot be excluded by agreement.
We may suspend accounts that misuse the service, and we may change or discontinue features as LabelSense evolves. If these terms change materially, the date above will change and continued use means you accept the new terms.
